Injection Molding is a process in which a polymer is superheated into a high plastic state then shot at high pressure into a cavity where it solidifies. Generally thermoplastics are used but thermosets, elastomers and metal alloys can be used too. Multiple cavities can be used at one time to generate multiple molds per cycle.
