Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Services are production-based services in which software files are used to numerically operate machines that make parts from solid models. Numerically controlled mills and punches and presses are just a few examples of machines that accept CAM. The automation of complicated mass produced parts is the driving force behind CAM services.
