http://www.mfgx.com/images/emoticons/confused.gif Does Black River have any experience in machined parts?
We have about twelve years of experience working with Chinese machine shops. We can work on projects which require up to five axis of machining.

http://www.mfgx.com/images/emoticons/confused.gif What sort of projects are best suited to your supply lines?
We are looking for product engineering, drafting, stamping, die casting, lost wax, sand casting, plastic injection, extrusion and assembly projects.

http://www.mfgx.com/images/emoticons/confused.gif What volumes are suitable for offshore sourcing?
Volumes should be in the 5K to 10K range per part, and multiple parts to be consolidated into one shipment to the US.

http://www.mfgx.com/images/emoticons/confused.gif Do you need prints or samples or both?
We need prints at a minimum, preferably via email. For engineering prints we work with AutoCad, ProE, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, and RhinoCad software packages. We bill engineering out at US$50 per hour if you need some help in getting sketches into a standard engineering format.

We would also prefer to have at least six (6) samples from any project to allow us to get the part in front of multiple factories and get the best value in the shortest amount of time.

?:| How good is the quality?
Quality depends on customer requirements and price points, but we have parts in production for the oil and gas, automotive, health & fitness, office seating, marine, and airline industries. Our inspection reports are tailored to the product and often include testing such as salt spray, pull tests, material certification, etc.
